The magic of Disney is about to meet the spirit of America in a celebration like no other. The Walt Disney Company has officially revealed its plans for a nationwide commemoration of the United States’ 250th anniversary, set to take place throughout 2026, with unforgettable moments, heartwarming stories, and live music that will bring generations together.
At the center of this grand celebration is the long-awaited debut of “Soarin’ Across America” — a breathtaking, reimagined version of the beloved Disney Parks attraction that will take guests on an awe-inspiring flight over the nation’s most iconic landmarks. From the majestic peaks of the Rockies to the Statue of Liberty, and from Alaska’s wild frontiers to the golden shores of California, the experience will serve as both a visual journey and a love letter to the country itself.
The celebration, officially titled “Celebrate America: 250 Years of Dreams and Discovery,” will extend far beyond the skies. Both Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will host special live performances, fireworks spectaculars, and patriotic parades, alongside exclusive appearances from some of America’s most beloved country, pop, and Broadway performers.
In a statement, Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, expressed Disney’s deep connection to the moment:
