In the aftermath of the catastrophic floods that have devastated communities across Texas, claiming at least 132 lives and leaving more than 170 still missing, Willie and Korie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame have released a heart-wrenching public statement, offering their prayers, support, and unwavering love for those affected.
“As the floodwaters rose, so did the sorrow,” they began.
“Entire towns were swallowed in minutes. Families torn apart. And the heart of Texas now aches in silence.”
Speaking from their hometown of West Monroe, Louisiana, the Robertsons expressed profound grief over the scale of destruction, calling it one of the darkest chapters in recent history for their neighboring state.
“We’ve walked through storms,” Korie added, her voice trembling, “but what we’re seeing now is heartbreak beyond words. There are families tonight with no home, no answers — only faith.”
The Robertsons, known for their unshakable Christian values and long-standing support for humanitarian relief efforts, are also reportedly mobilizing resources and volunteers to assist in hard-hit communities like Kerrville, Liberty Hill, and Burnet, offering both physical aid and spiritual comfort.
“We’ve always believed in being the hands and feet of Jesus,” Willie shared.
“And that means showing up when your neighbors are in the mud, not just when they’re in the pew.”
They ended their message with a plea for unity and compassion.
“To the families who lost loved ones — we see you. To those still waiting for word — we’re praying with you. And to Texas — you are not alone. We stand with you, heart to heart, shoulder to shoulder, and knee to knee in prayer.”
In the face of such overwhelming loss, the Robertsons’ words are a reminder that even when everything else is swept away, faith, love, and human kindness still remain.
A flood may have stolen homes — but it hasn’t drowned hope. Not in Texas. Not tonight.
